Hibernation Inquiry Project

We are all finished with our hibernation project. As a final activity, we used clay to represent our learning. We found the clay very hard to work with, as it dried out quickly. Here is a quick slide show of our sculptures!

Hibernation

The KP class has been very busy learning all about hibernation!  We started off by making a list of things were were wondering about, such as why bears hibernate, do they get up during hibernation to eat, and what other animals hibernate during the winter.  We have been working very hard learning about google, and how to represent our learning through drawing.  Next week we will be making a clay sculpture that represents our favourite hibernation facts!
